Col. Walter Hitchcock once said that "Freedom is Not Free".
These words are inscribed on the walls of the Korean War Memorial in Washington, DC and have always touched my heart when I walked around the memorial learning more about the “Forgotten War.”
You can see this statement come so clearly now in the lives, faces, and bodies of Ukrainian (and many other nationalities) Men & Women who are fighting for freedom on the battlefields of Ukraine.
They are not only fighting for Ukraine, they are fighting for the Free World, the Democracy, the way of life that we have all come to enjoy in the West.
Limbs for Liberty is an incredible organization that made it possible for the Denver community of Ukrainian well-wishers and supporters to meet two brave Ukrainian soldiers.
So, join us to pay respects to all those Men and Women who are standing guard on the walls of the free world so we can sleep at night and live our lives in peace.
