About Refugee Meal:
Colorado welcomed several thousand Ukrainian refugees after the war broke out in 2022. They are mostly women and children as men are not allowed to leave the country. Ukrainian Denver Food Festival is a home away from home for these wonderful and courageous people. We want to make it easier for them to connect with their broader community of American well-wishers and supporters as well as provide them with tastes from their home country.
